Customers praised this mini PC as a "powerful little NAS" with excellent transfer speeds and reliability. Shoppers highlighted its flexibility with four drive bays and OS customization. It "runs quietly" and handles 6K video editing well. Some noted the price is "on high side" without drives or RAM included, but offers "great value" overall.

Powerful little NAS - Not necessarily set up for NAS out of the box, but it could be.

It comes with Windows 11 Pro preinstalled on the NVMe drive. I booted into Windows just to check it out, and everything seemed to work fine—video output and LAN drivers were all properly recognized. That said, I’m not sure using Windows as a NAS OS makes much sense when there are better alternatives available (in my opinion). I had no intention of staying on Windows, so I switched to TrueNAS. I also watched a few videos suggesting that the drives are not hot-swappable, so I made sure to install everything and prepare the hardware before booting and setting up the OS, which made the process much smoother. The processor is quite snappy and handles tasks efficiently. It runs quietly, and if you’re comfortable managing your own NAS operating system, it offers great value for the price. With four internal drive bays and four USB ports in my setup, storage expansion is quite flexible. Since no drives are included, that part is up to the user.

Great as a NAS in our home network.

I've been using this NAS for several years now, and I absolutely love it. It has been incredibly reliable, serving as the central storage solution for 4–5 computers in our home without any issues. The transfer speeds are excellent, to the point where you hardly notice that you're saving files over a network. Backing up data is effortless, and it provides peace of mind by keeping everyone's files protected in one place. Overall, it's been a dependable and high-performing NAS that has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable home storage and backup solution.

perfect first nas

affordable, works well, and perfect for the home office. i'm running 3 10TB nas HDD drives and have had great experience. i edit 6k video over wifi and can get a lot done, with a little bit of lag, but it's not enough to kill the experience. if you work with proxy files, you'll have no lag at all. i used to work off SSDs for all my video editing and now i only rely on the files in the NAS HDD using wifi since i like to work from the couch untethered. if you plug in your computer via ethernet, there will be zero lag

I love it

I love it. It allowed me to optimize the RAM modules, using fast NVME for OS, and 4 SATA drives (either HDD or SSD). And I select the OS!
